DENVER- Today, Governor Polis issued an Executive Order declaring a disaster emergency in Baca, Jefferson, Kiowa, Prowers, and Teller Counties following severe weather and flooding in June 2023. The action enables state and federal agencies to coordinate response and recovery efforts and seek eligibility for federal funding for these counties.
