Catherine Kraeger-Rovey is a Colorado native from Fort Collins. She is a semi-retired professional engineer, with bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees in civil engineering from Colorado State University. Dr. Kraeger-Rovey and her spouse own and operate an engineering consulting firm in Denver specializing in water resources, hydrology, and ground water modeling. She has been active in the consulting business and associated professional societies for 26 years. Dr. Kraeger-Rovey has served as an assistant professor of civil engineering at Oregon State University, as well as an adjunct professor in the department of geology and geological engineering at the Colorado School of Mines, teaching graduate-level courses in well hydraulics. She was appointed to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board in 1989, as a representative of conservation interests, and is currently serving her fourth term.
