MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD MEETING

 

 

MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD/STATE OF COLORADO, Public Notice in conformance with the Colorado Sunshine Act of 1972.  The Mined Land Reclamation Board will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver, Colorado, beginning at 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise noticed.

 

Due to the statutory deadlines and other responsibilities and requirements, the following Mined Land Reclamation Board Meeting AGENDA IS TENTATIVE AND WILL BE REVISED.  If you have any questions on specific Agenda Items, please contact the Division at 303.866.3567.

*8.      Formal Board Action

**       Board consideration of a revised “Notice of Intent to Conduct Prospecting Operations for Hard Rock/Metal Mines” form. The proposed form is intended to address changes to the confidentiality provisions for Prospecting Notices described at C.R.S. 34-32-113, as amended by Senate Bill 228, signed on June 2, 2008.

 

The revised form sets forth the process by which the applicant will designate confidential and non-confidential portions of a proposed Prospecting Notice and the Division’s review of an applicant’s designation. The form also describes the process by which disputes between the Division and the Prospecting Notice applicant will be resolved by the Mined Land Reclamation Board.  (45 minutes)
