** Board consideration of a revised “Notice of Intent to Conduct Prospecting Operations for Hard Rock/Metal Mines” form. The proposed form is intended to address changes to the confidentiality provisions for Prospecting Notices described at C.R.S. 34-32-113, as amended by Senate Bill 228, signed on June 2, 2008.
The revised form sets forth the
process by which the applicant will designate confidential and non-confidential
portions of a proposed Prospecting Notice and the Division’s review of an
applicant’s designation. The form also describes the process by which disputes
between the Division and the Prospecting Notice applicant will be resolved by
the Mined Land Reclamation Board. (45 minutes)
