These maps show the approximate location of abandoned underground coal mines as they are mapped under the city or town shown. The lines on the map indicate the approximate outline of mining and the approximate depth in feet to the coal mine. These areas represent the potential subsidence area.

Please note: The boundary lines and depth lines have been transferred from existing maps. They are visually accurate but are not exact. These maps represent the extent of mining that RMS has maps for. Some mining has taken place and mines exist that RMS does not have maps for, so mining may exist in areas that are not shown.
